It was certainly a chaotic debate but you’re correct. When it comes down to specifics Trump NAILED Biden several times. It was like a boxer with an opponent in the corner.

Biden tried to be a centrist after all of this rhetoric pandering to the far left and Trump nailed him on it. Each time he pointed out “you just lost the far left” Biden paused and had nothing to say. He knew it.

The only time Wallace came close to exposing Biden was when he asked him if he’d called the mayor of Portland or the Governor of Oregon to tell them to get the violence resolved. Trump should have just responded, Joe, not calling them shows “real leadership!”

I think a lot of people are over-analyzing the substance of the debate last night. Forget about substance. The most enduring takeaway from the debate was the optics. Joe Biden looked like he was pulled out of a casket at a funeral home for this event.

I agree. By the end of the debate Biden was looking horrible. If it went on for another 30 minutes, he would have crumbled. It was obvious that confusion was setting in when Trump was hammering him about Hunter and Biden thought he was talking about his other son.
