Lots of people here bash the Mail. And I’m sure its editorial pages are garbage. But it is the only one that regularly prints news the other side doesn’t want printed.
I don’t know the reason. I’m not smart enough to figure it out. But they just do.
they and fox are the only ones to regularly do this. I know Fox news is going in the bad direction but right now these are the only major outlets to report news not flattering to Democrats.
the New York times and Washington Post will do it once or twice a month to make believe they aren’t one-sided
Yes, it’s why I like to read it first before other sites. They are a glorified National Enquirer indeed, but they manage to get details our media, Fox included, refuse to give up.
For instance, in my little Virginia county there was a little boy who went missing. He was 4 and the parents had left him and the little baby sister sleeping while the wife drove hubby to work. NOT A PEEP here about details, BUT, DM had not only all the details, but photos of the family, our sheriff being interviewed, the search, etc. So to get LOCAL details I read a site overseas. Go figure no??
I always tell people if you want to know what’s going on in the world, Daily Mail is the place to go. Drudge used to be the place, but I find DM is much quicker with breaking big stories and they have a lot of great pictures. Stories on Drudge are sometimes days old. I think Drudge has lost a lot of readers to Daily Mail. I’m surprised DM doesn’t hire more proofreaders though—their simple typos and mistakes are glaring.
Although, lately DM has turned rabid anti-Trump. During 2016 they were pretty fair treating both candidates equally negative, especially with Hillary’s scandals. Now Biden gets a pass on his gaffes and they don’t focus on the senility issues. 99% of Trump stories are negative. If you read the comments sections even the readers mention the bias. I think Trump hater Piers Morgan pushes the anti-Trump BS.
