We have had a solid half century of affirmative action, untold billions of dollars spent on welfare, other forms of public assistance, and a plethora of government programs meant to lift up the black community. What have these litteraly trillions of dollars accomplished? The black family has been almost completely destroyed. We have a community where approximately 75% of the children are born outside of marriage. The vast majority of black homes do not have a father present. This results in a culture where black men have over 4 times the rate of felony convictions as the general population.

Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.”

We have had a solid half century of myopically giving away our low end manufacturing jobs to the third world leaving many cities without economic viability. Where do blacks live? In those devastated cities.
What did we expectt would happen?
