This is a shame. I thought she was better than that.
No problem. Check other media and travel logs. So she checked and confirmed that he was indeed in France and he was indeed supposed to go visit a certain cemetery. The only part she couldn't confirm was that he said what the Atlantic claimed about the soldiers, but since the first 2 parts were confirmed then the third part is probably true.

Context: I’m a ‘Nam vet who, at 20 years of age, during Tet flew around close to the ground in a helicopter hoping to find the enemy by drawing his fire.
That being said, what would YOU call what I did, and what would you call the millions of WWI soldiers who obeyed orders to line up in trenches, in the mud and barbed wire, to go “over the top” to make a frontal assault on an entrenched enemy who had artillery and Maxim machine guns?

I saw her. I wanted to slap her so hard. Pete was talking and she kept over talking him. I don’t like her at all. She was full on raging about it’s possible the President said those things due to comments about McCain.

Will Chamberlain is a smart DC lawyer on our side and he’s completely correct.
This smear was put together by disgruntled neocons and the Dems/fake news media. It’s the planned October “surprise” played early because Biden’s poll numbers were collapsing everywhere. Like all the other hoaxes/smears, it won’t work.
Potus has done too much for the military in the last 4 years for this smear to be believable. He sneaks out to visit Arlington Cemetery in the rain without press coverage and he quietly visits wounded vets in hospital. Before he was even elected, he paid for a military parade in NYC out of his own pocket so it could proceed. What more can you say?
How is talking to anonymous sources confirming the allegation itself?

I don't know - you can look at the question in other ways, also. Is it smart or stupid, to value freedom, or loyalty? How about the rule of law, or family? Is it smart to donate a kidney, or worship God? I think it might better be examined, in terms of values and priorities.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but throughout human history, in just about every culture, the person who values himself above everything else has rarely been considered 'smart'. In so far as that view has been adopted in modern America, our society is an aberration...
