I'll stand up and defend the Antifa member who shot the Trump supporter in Portland Oregon if it turns out that he was legitimately in fear of his life and fired his pistol in self defense. And yes, I'll also defend Kyle Rittenhouse for his actions taken in self defense.
Your straw man includes a presumption of what other people believe and would do. That's not logical, and it is not correct.
The question of course becomes when one is out after curfew illegally brandishing a weapon you’re lot allowed to own at property you have no connection to are you actually defending yourself or are looking for a fight.
