A Virginia rape suspect was released from jail over coronavirus concerns and then shot dead his accuser, authorities say.
Ibrahim E. Bouaichi, 33, of Greenbelt, Md., had been indicted on charges of rape, strangulation and abduction after Karla Dominguez, a native of Venezuela, told cops in Alexandria, Va., that he sexually assaulted her in October, the Washington Post said.
Bouaichi turned himself in 11 days later, and a judge ordered him held without bond. Then, despite objections by an Alexandria prosecutor, lawyers for the man, who was charged with six felonies, successfully argued on April 9 that he be released on $25,000 bond with a condition that he only leave his Maryland residence to meet with lawyers or pretrial services officials, the newspaper said.

Citizen arrest the judge.
MD ping
If the person is "allegedly killed", then maybe they are not really dead? Maybe it was all just a misunderstanding.
Insane.
This guy is probably a North African muslim.
Keep voting Democrat.
the judge and his lawyers should lose their jobs,
be indicted for murder and suffer that same as the
victim.
should but alas won’t
Heck, if he was in Cali-unicorn-ia, he would have been released on recognizance!
They didnt have to release him.
All they had to do was give him a mask.
Masks work, right?
Rape is murder; should have been summarily executed, as all doubt had been removed, that same day.
Typical violent Democrat.
Exactly!
Yes. If it was any other profession besides a judge, lawyer or elected official, the persons responsible would be criminally liable for this decision and a civil case would be taken by the victim’s family and bankrupt them. Not being the case, they act with impunity, disregard, and negligence with no disincentive to continue to do so.
How about solitary confinement? The judge needs to be recalled, if possible.
Unfortunately, Judges have absolute judicial immunity, in which, they are immune to being arrested, or sued, for any actions that they take in relation to their judicial role. His setting an outrageously low bail, is clearly a judicial action, and he exempted from any legal repercussions. Depending on the politics of Virginia, it might have serious career implications, but it’s unlikely.
I wish it were different, but the concept of absolute judicial immunity goes way back to the common law of england in the middle ages. So the next time you hear that there is noone above the law, it is a hoax, and is not true.
Yes. The exact crux of this problem.
I pinged the Freak State list on another thread dealing with the Wu Flu Lockdown (except for crinimals) release of this idiot.
I hope Ms. Dominguez’ friends and family stage a “peaceful protest” in front of the judge’s house. Hope they bring a camera crew with them.
