I’ve always had a lot of respect for the Jordanian monarchy (at least the ones in my lifetime, Hussein and Abdullah).
They seem to be a lot saner than most of them over there.
And they seem to actually give a crap about their people.

Well he’s a man that wants to get things done and is educated as well. That does make a difference. He also knows perfectly well it’s important to get along with the western world.
King Abdullah’s mother was American, he speaks English perfectly, and was educated in the US and IIRC trained in in mil. here. He is a fighter pilot.
