“Biggest Bible Mystery”? I dunno.
I always wanted to know for sure what that “firmament” was, or the Sons of Heaven and “Heroes of Reknown” that came about when the Sons of Heaven came together with the “Daughters of Men”.
Heck, I would have liked to know more about who Cain, Abel, Seth (and any other sons) married in those early years.
Yes—good point. I believe the archaeologists have been wondering about the Philistines for years, so it is THEIR biggest mystery
“”Heck, I would have liked to know more about who Cain, Abel, Seth (and any other sons) married in those early years.””
THAT would have been the mystery I wanted an answer to as well.
They married the daughters of Adam and Eve. Duh.
I want to know what Selah means in musical terms and that melodies David put the Psalms to originally.
Bkmrk
They must have married their sisters.
Cain and Abel married sisters. Adam and Eve had multiple other unnamed children. While close relatives being the first offspring there was hardly any issue with passing on any genetic defects. The prohibition of marrying close relatives came well after the flood.
Ribs. Lots of ribs.
Their sisters of course. This is well-known and not a mystery. Just something we do not talk about since it is not a polite thing to do these days.
Which means we're related! Say could you loan me $50.00?
;-)

Their sisters. It’s no mystery.
There are same ancient sources that name the daughters of Adam and Eve as Aven and Azura.
Jewish tradition doesnt name them, but says Abel was born with two sisters, Cain with one.
Genesis 5:4 indicates a number of other offspring of the first couple.
