Ridicule is one of the most powerful weapons in the public sphere, and I like to see sane, rational leaders hammering points like this to expose the idiocy of all this irrational fear-mongering about COVID-19.
If it's not safe to open businesses and get people back to work, then it's not safe to open schools. Let every Karen whimpering at home behind her stupid mask figure out what to do with her kids.
If it's not safe to vote, then it's not safe to have anyone count ballots, either. Let's postpone all elections until everyone feels safe again.
