Since the mask mandate went into place here in Illinois, I have been driving 40 miles to Iowa to shop without a mask (skipping Walmart now). A friend asked me, “What’s the big deal about a mask? It shows you care!” I said the mask was a gateway to more restrictions. I then told him the virus can enter through the eyes, so how would he feel about a goggle mandate? He said I was being reactionary and silly. I think I’ll send him a link to this story!

I’ve been looking at masks on Amazon, and some of them have the message, “Be a nice human.” Gag me!
Others are better, e.g.:
