Do We Believe in U.F.O.s? That’s the Wrong Question
NYTimes ^ | 7/28/2020 | Ralph Blumenthal and Leslie Kean

Posted on 07/28/2020 8:54:33 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Our previous stories were relatively easy to document with Department of Defense videos of U.F.O.s and pilot eyewitness accounts backed up by Navy hazard reports of close encounters with small speeding objects.

But our latest article provided a more daunting set of challenges, since we dealt with the possible existence of retrieved materials from U.F.O.s. Going from data on a distant object in the sky to the possession of a retrieved one on the ground makes a leap that many find hard to accept and that clearly demands extraordinary evidence.

Numerous associates of the Pentagon program, with high security clearances and decades of involvement with official U.F.O. investigations, told us they were convinced such crashes have occurred, based on their access to classified information. But the retrieved materials themselves, and any data about them, are completely off-limits to anyone without clearances and a need to know.

We were provided a series of unclassified slides showing that the program took this seriously enough to include it in numerous briefings. One slide says one of the program’s tasks was to “arrange for access to data/reports/materials from crash retrievals of A.A.V.’s,” or advanced aerospace vehicles.

Our sources told us that “A.A.V.” does not refer to vehicles made in any country — not Russian or Chinese — but is used to mean technology in the realm of the truly unexplained. They also assure us that their briefings are based on facts, not belief.

“Belief has to do with matters of faith; it has nothing to do with the kind of knowledge that is based on scientific inquiry.”

Very good, New York Times. Now let’s talk about Global Warming and Covid lock-downs. And Marxism.

Advanced aerospace vehicles built and piloted by EBE’s - as in Extraterrestrial Biological Entities. Is actual disclosure coming? We will see.

Looks to me like they’re slow-leaking it to avoid panic. It might be a long time or never until we have pictures of the objects.

Before someone chimes in with "how is it that vehicles that can travel across the universe end up crashing" they need to listen to the Joe Rogan interview of Bob Lazar.

He claims that the UFOs ability to travel fast is based on generating and controlling gravity. This makes them very sensitive to the variations in gravity across the Earth due to slight variations of the composition of the rocks at different points.

I'm not saying I believe in UFOs, but it's not a slam dunk to say that craft that can travel the empty space between stars must also be able to travel easily through atmosphere near a rocky planet. Aircraft carriers are good on the open seas, but not so great near shorelines.

There have been reports around for decades of people who claim to have been abducted having small bits of strange material implanted in them.

Reports are that these bits of material have been removed and investigated, and may be monitoring/tracking device but nothing certain has been determined.

The question is, do they believe in us?

I guess not.

After the long flight a crash is most likely from DUII

Certainly a weird time we live in, never though I would see mainstream networks and the New York Times seriously reporting that we have obtained materials that could not have come from Earth. It's funny how they still dance around the topic of Aliens like that is just a step to far. But what is the alternative? Some Earth nation has a secret colony on Mars that's making them? That would be more unbelievable than Aliens.

I'm just a bit shocked at how little airplay this is really getting, it's like "In other news, the Department of Defense admits it has retrieved materials of extra-terrestrial origin...and talking about out of this world! How about that Red Sox pitching!"

They might be doing this now, if it’s real, cause people are so worked up in daily news/life that the impact is low. And a lot of people have heard about aliens all their lives now and nothing has really shown up. What’s amazing though is this is way different and not the ‘cannot confirm or deny’ type stuff we’ve always got.

It started with the video releases last year as far as I remember. Clearly Trump and higher ups want this. If they somehow change it could all go dark again of course.

I completely agree.

I think a lot of people who are paying attention are a little shell-shocked by this news. I know I am.

The implications are almost too great to imagine.

Facts are facts and fact was spelled out decades ago, the Nazi’s built a gigantic under ground base in Antarctica and developed the technologies.

Foo fighters were first seen during bombing raids over Germany.

All this stupid secrecy because Pentagon brass think some woman somewhere is going to jump up and down for 3 minutes screaming?

OMG that's so stupid....

If a virus dropped out of a Chinese lab doesn't cause societal panic - nothing will...

Earth type planets are actually impossibly rare. There is a far more interesting theological question - What is our purpose if we are the only life in an infinite Universe?
