AG Barr just said, “Who of the president’s enemies have I indicted?” He then when on to explain how it was he who prosecuted Stone, the president’s ally.
I don’t think prosecuting Stone is anything to brag about. Sorry. I am no fan of Roger Stone by any stretch, but using Barr’s own words - the investigation of Stone as well as the prosecution were NOT PROPERLY PREDICATED. Had Stone not been an “ally” of Trump he would have never been prosecuted. Period. That is a simple fact.
