A Black Lives Matter protester has been shot dead during a march in Austin, as a youth detention center and police precinct have been torched in Seattle and demonstrators gather again in Portland amid stand-offs with Donald Trump's federal agents. One protester was shot and killed when gunshots were fired during a protest in downtown Austin, Texas, Saturday night. Shocking footage showed people marching along the street holding banners demanding an end to police brutality and racism when loud shots rang out.

Texas does have a “stand your ground” law, so if the guy can convince cops he felt his life was in danger, he may not be in serious trouble. Then again, I don’t know, he may have been the aggressor with no reason to fire...or just scared out of his wits.
Some thug involved in a protest I already know has potential for violence approaches my car carrying a rifle, I’m pretty likely to shoot now and ask questions later too. Come close to me armed, I have to assume you intend to use it. Don’t even point it at me...don’t even think about it...

During a riot, a rioter approaches someone in a vehicle, in Texas, while carrying a rifle? The only logical path forward for an innocent person in a car is to shoot first.

“Protester” armed with a rifle approached a man’s car and got shot and later died. He must have been holding it in a threatening manner or pointed it at the guy. Don’t know yet.
Any of Y’all remember the good old days when even Democrat Governors, Mayors, and even Democrat Presidents and Legislators wanted peace , tranquility, and ‘Law & Order’, at least within their own cities, states and national borders?

So the brazen encouraged and supported by the politicians will eventually run out of things to destroy and burn. Do they now work thier way to the suburbs? They may want to think about this.
