Fine them enough to pay for these special sunglasses.

$125 per pair of sunglasses. That would buy a lot of live ammunition per officer.
In my opinion, blasting away someone’s eyesight permanently with a laser qualifies as, “Grievous bodily injury,” and earns the laser operator quite a few bullets in the face.
But, that’s just me.

...earns the laser operator quite a few bullets in the face. ...and me. Though I'd say just one round, from a sniper on overwatch. Every laser beam earns something in the 30 cal range coming right back to the source.

These assholes pointed lasers at people are garbage humans who should be either rounded up and dumped alive in the Pacific or left dead in the street. No preference.

Laser attacks on local and federal police should be felonies. Eye for an eye type of punishment that fits the crime of blinding people

Heck, they could have purchased HD vision Tac Glasses for a mere $19.99 and gotten a second pair for just paying a separate fee...............How cool is that?
To: rintintin
Does anyone know if the laser could burn through the eye and into the brain?

I have bought a couple of military surplus binoculars which had laser shields. I have no idea how well they work.

EASY SOLUTION: Advise the 'peaceful protestors' that snipers will take out any of them that are using lasers against Federal officers.
THEN DO IT.

How is the trying to blind the officers with lasers make this peaceful and the perps to be protesters?
The lasers are dangerous weapons. I think lately it becomes an armed assault.

Don’t fine them, shoot them in the face.
To: RandallFlagg
You are absolutely right. If a LEO gets blinded, he or she can’t work.
