Talked to my son this morning who lives in Corpus Christi. He says it been raining on and off with some occasional heavy downpours. The winds have not been too bad so far. He said nothing compared to Harvey.

Thanks for your local update. Hannah is anticipated to make landfall south of Corpus Christi. This puts CC on the dirty side of the storm. Lots more weather to come.

"Do you have family in the hurricane path?"

No

I was just looking at the map of South Texas. About 30 years ago part of my job was to take a flight from Houston to Dallas twice a week.
I would catch the 7:00AM flight out of Hobby airport in Houston on a flight arriving from Harlingen. The people on the plane from Harlingen would always be drinking and partying when I got on the plane.
I never figured that one out.
My younger brother ventured that it may be related to the beach scene at South Padre Island.
All I ever wanted at 7:00AM was more coffee.
