I ‘caught hell’ for getting on my Grandsons case about wearing the ball cap backwards.
I asked him if he knew the origin (I had to explain origin..ha ha) and he was ‘aghast’ when I told him it was a prison thing so they could get close to the bars or fence or since it only ‘irritated’ me I probably came up with that explanation on my own.
(that was the first explanation I had gotten those ‘years ago’.)
On the show “The Wire” cops were trying to put a tracking device on a ‘gangstas’ car so his partner distracted them by asking where he could buy those ball caps with the bills on the side and back.
The one dude was trying to explain to them how it originated and the cop insisted he had never been able to find where they were sold like that.
Right up there like when hustler sold some ‘gangstas’ vanishing cream and go whizzed when no one would believe them. A cop finally ‘figured it out’, told another one and the new guy went in and made like he didn’t see him...it was comical watching the guy ‘stealthly’ stroll pass all the cops in the building thinking they couldn’t see him.....
Wholesome Canadian Justin Bieber dresses like that. I’ll bet they’d let him in. *SNORT*
