Joe Biden publicly said he agrees with moving police funds away from the police. That is “defunding” the police. I can’t believe Chris Wallace doesn’t understand that.

It has become quite obvious that these days, any person or group who calls themselves “Fact Checker” are not interested in presenting the truth, but are “checking” the facts:

Looks like it’s going to be a painful hour to sit through on Sunday morning, but I guess PDJT is faced with little choice.
He cannot do his rallies, his White House events are widely blacked out (except for OANN & CSPAN) and practically the entire Lamestream Media is against him and working on behalf of Biden.
Even his renominating Convention isn’t going to be anything close to what he wants, since Florida is now experiencing worse effects from Covid-19 than NC.
What’s more, I gather that Fox is going to be releasing a new batch of their BS polls Sunday morning exactly during Fox News Sunday. They’ll likely be humiliating and show our magnificent POTUS trailing by something like 20 points.
All of this and then there’s the problem with how PDJT will be able to negotiate anything close to a level playing field for the debates—if Sleepy Joe agrees to face-off.
Recently, I heard some absurd stipulations that PDJT must release his taxes beforehand and that there must be fact-checkers on hand to constantly interrupt and dispute much of what our leader has to say. I doubt any critiques of Biden will be allowed, as well. Plus, I’m hard-pressed to think of any truly professional and reasonable moderators to be objective and unbiased.
All I can do is pray and hope for a bit of divine intervention!

A recent Trump campaign ad misrepresented Biden’s stated position. And now a chorus of conservative voices is seizing on snippets of an interview as evidence that the former vice president does support defunding the police after all...
“And I heard that, just yesterday, Joe Biden said that well-armed police in his words ‘become the enemy’ and he said that he would ‘absolutely cut funding for law enforcement,’” Pence said.
But Biden’s actual comments didn’t go as far as Pence claimed.
Biden said in the interview that he is open to shifting some federal police funds to other programs. Otherwise, he has proposed increasing federal funding for community policing, and has consistently called for linking federal law-enforcement funding to policing reforms.
And while Biden did use the word “enemy” in his comments, Pence distorted what Biden actually said...
Pence’s statement followed a video interview Biden did with liberal activist Ady Barkan that posted July 8...

Alluding to demands made by Black Lives Matter, Barkan said deadly police encounters with citizens could be reduced if some police funding were redirected to social services, mental health counseling and affordable housing.
“Are you open to that kind of reform?” he asked.
Biden replied: “Yes. I proposed that kind of reform.” ...
Biden then talked about police using military equipment in their communities, which is where the “enemy” comment came up:
“Surplus military equipment for law enforcement — they don’t need that. The last thing you need is an up-armored Humvee coming into a neighborhood; it’s like the military invading. They don’t know anybody; they become the enemy, they’re supposed to be protecting these people.”
Barkan then interjected, asking: “But do we agree that we can redirect some of the funding?”
Biden replied: “Yes. Absolutely.” ...
The Biden campaign gave PolitiFact an audio recording of that portion of the interview. After, “Yes. Absolutely,” according to the recording, Biden said, “And by the way, not just redirect, condition them.”...
So, Biden said he “absolutely” would shift some funds from police to other services, but he has also proposed adding funding for community policing...
The statement contains an element of truth but ignores critical facts that would give a different impression.

It has been my thought that when the Murdoch kids got assigned their duties, one of them was assigning the various heads/hosts a role of either pro-Trump or anti-Trump. It tracks pretty close. That pansy Wallace is obviously anti-Trump. Always has been and he is very clumsy about it. Can’t listen to him either.
