The boy goes down so the girl goes free.
These are the words, as Matt Chandler says in his series A Beautiful Design that we know are right. Gods design for men is made innately clear when we see, for example, actions such as the three heroes who died protecting their girlfriends at the Aurora movie theater shooting,.
Six-year-old Bridger saved his little sisters life after he stood in between her and a charging dog, thus putting himself on the receiving end of vicious blows that resulted in some pretty gruesome injuries.
When asked why he acted the way he did, he said, If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.
Bridgers proud aunt Nicole has been posting about the ordeal on Instagram.
His wounds are looking so much better! Hes in great spirits, and his awesome personality is intact, she wrote in a recent update. He cant smile too widely yet, but he was grinning as I read some of your comments to him. Id also like to mention here that the dogs owners are really great people who have been nothing but kind to Bridger and his family. We feel no resentment toward them at all, and
Hes had 90 stitches and is finally resting at home according to Nicole. She also tagged a few of Bridgers favorite action heroes in hopes theyd be able to give the young hero a shout out.
We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks

Captain America star Chris Evans joined the ranks of those praising the 6-year-old Wyoming boy who suffered 90 stitches after stepping in front of his little sister to save her from a charging dog.

Despite his politics and political rhetoric, this was a good move by Chris Evans for this kid.

How much you want to bet the dog was a pitbull. They didn’t say in the article. Kinda like not saying what color a perp is in a violent crime.
To: Hojczyk
What a hero!
And at only 6 years old.
You either got it or you don't. This kid has just got it.
He will be taking down future Bin Laden’s and Al Baghdadi’s when he grows up.
Wishing him a very fast recovery.

Well I guess that shows my dog bigotry. They can be just as mean. It depends on the upbringing.
To: Hojczyk
“90 stitches.” Wow. Brave kid and skilled doctor.
To: Joe 6-pack
If the attacking dog was a Pit Bull, I doubt Bridger would be alive today, or at a minimum he would be BADLY disfigured/handicapped.

"Really great people" don't keep vicious dogs and further they don't let their dogs run loose - I will however modify my statement. Shoot the dog and then sue the crap out of them and put them in jail for aggravated assault

for a dog to be child safe the owners need to work on there interaction skills continuously. I don't have kids and take every opportunity to I can to socialize my dogs to kids... at this point if they are under 12 my dogs are convinced they were put there to pet them.
