“...and yet people RIGHT HERE can’t figure that out, and continue to support the appointment of these Democrat Judges by sitting out elections (or voting 3rd party).”

I think you need to put that in perspective. For instance, if you live in an overwhelmingly Democrat district and the GOP candidate is in reality no better than the Dem (and who has zero chance of being elected), and there is very little chance the legislative body (Senate or House) will go to the Dems, I see no problem with voting for, say, one’s dog as a write-in. I did that with the Tammy Duckworth vs. Mark Kirk senatorial election a few years ago. Kirk had absolutely no chance whatsoever of winning that election (hell, the race was called for Duckworth even as the polls were closing), and there was not much chance the GOP would lose the Senate. As I said: Perspective.

My only evidence, one way or another, is five or six general anesthesia operations I’ve had in the last 40 or so years. No pain each time and just like riding a time machine.

A divided Supreme Court cleared the way for the first federal executions.

Guess what group will be the first to protest, the pro abortion mob.

At this point, there is simply no overlap in the Senate. If a Democrat wins, anywhere, that person will be worse, usually much worse, than the Republican running, even if it’s Mittens or Collins...or even Murkowski. The House may have half a dozen decent Democrats left...if that.

The first one went this morning. Good to see the government isn’t waiting around for more interference from activist judges.

It is possible to do veterinary studies to look at brain activity during euthanization and determine if the animal feels pain in the process.

It is equally possible to do the same kind of studies on prisoners while we execute them.

Maybe we could saw off the top of their skulls and insert electrodes in their brains.

That might be satisfactory from a vengeance perspective, but I think that brain activity can be measured from electrodes attached on the outside of the skull. Like when they do an EKG with electrodes attached all over your body.

The fact that the American Veterinary Association recommends injection of a pentobarbitol solution as a humane method to euthanize animals should be sufficient evidence to present in court any time an activist lawyer claims that the condemned murderer will feel unbearable pain and distress during execution from the injection of pentobarbitol. (I can tell you, the AVA manual on methods of euthanization makes for fascinating lunch time reading.) (Okay, maybe I'm a bit weird like that.)

...That might be satisfactory from a vengeance perspective...

There is also a deterrence value, which should not be underestimated.

I wish we created a federal law whereby a perp was held to the same standard of cruel or unusual actions he imposed upon his victim. In this, if the perp deemed his own actions not not be cruel when he harmed an innocent, he gives up his right to argue against it in his own.execution/death. Not suggesting torturous, only his loss of right to claim death method of cruel.

For instance...
Murder someone by shooting them, then the murderer’s own actions have cleared the way for firing squad upon him. After all, the murderer imposed this upon his victim, so he gives up his right to claim firing squad is cruel or unusual, by his own actions against another.

The death penalty is NOT a punishment.
The death penalty is to permanently remove an evil human from the planet thereby protecting society from further harm from the evil person.

That's my view.

I have seen many people make the argument that we should have sympathy for the murderer because he became that way as a result of childhood abuse, etc. While that may be true in some cases (some are born murderers), it is irrelevant in considering the murderer's threat to civilized society. No one protests putting down a dangerous dog on the basis that it was abused as a puppy; the dog is just put down. Why have a different attitude towards dangerous humans?

Exactly, I use that example to teach my children and everyone is general the undeniable perverted psychosis of the left, i.e. the person without Christ. The very same people who would give up everything, including a seat in Congress to defend abortion would fall on their sword to eliminate the death penalty even for those who took a women’s right to choose her own continuation of life. No rational human being can believe that. It is just pure evil. It is absolutely sickening that we must accept, live with, respect, etc. those who support the wholesale slaughter of innocent baby human beings as human beings themselves with views that must be accepted and treated as equal human beings. We are so crushed with societal liberalism that our lives would be ruined by using the N word yet we can straight face espouse a passionate belief that it is an honorable opinion to believe in innocent human slaughter
