Here is an aerial of Seal Beach Pier fire in Los Angeles. Notice the three small "toy fireboats" are dwarfed by the 40k GPM big boys fireboat.

Why doesn't the Port of San Diego have more capable fireboats?

Just checked the feed and see that larger fireboats are now on scene. Where did they come from?

Seal Beach Pier is in Seal Beach, Orange County, south (actually east) of Los Angeles. Not to say that an LA fireboat didn’t help.
