No question Sessions did a terrible job as AG. He was in way over his head. However, as a senator from Ala. he did a good job, he was strong law and order, very much anti illegal immigration strong borders etc, strong on conservative judges and the first senator to support Trump. Is that what is needed from an Ala. senator? Tuberville has shown to be anti Trump, while never refuting his campaign mgr. for all the anti Trump writings as well as disparaging remarks about Trump supporters.
