Again, I’ll be shocked if Biden even gets the nomination. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Biden is suffering from dementia. There is no way that he can come through a Presidential debate without looking like the diminished person he is. While the Dems may spoon-feed him the debate questions beforehand like they did with Hillary, I honestly think things are so bad for him even that won’t help. He has a TAPED ad on YouTube and he still fumbles with the wrong words to the point where they added a crawl line at the bottom with the correct words. No, something’s going to happen at the convention to throw Biden under the bus.

It’s clear that Biden is ahead of Trump, for several reasons. I don’t need a poll to know this, I can just talk with my neighbors and coworkers.
It serves no purpose to be in denial.
I don’t think for a minute that they even care if he does have dementia. They don’t have standards and if you ever listen on Facebook, even their dogs would do a better job than Trump.

National polls are generally not accurate for the electoral college.
Biden is a “non-candidate” right now. He is making few appearances and is really not putting much out there. The DNC is hiding him so he can be a blank slate who is “not Trump.”
Meanwhile, they and their minions are doing everything they can to create chaos in the country, in the news, with the virus, etc etc. All of this is aimed to hurt Trump. Biden is an awful candidate and they know it so he is running a ghost campaign where others tell you what he thinks and stands for and so he makes fewer gaffes himself.
I don’t know if this will work, but it might be their most effective way to get an ineffective candidate elected. The chaos is really impacting the country. It detracts from Trump’s accomplishments and any good news and their final message to suburban moms will be “vote for Biden and this chaos will end.”
We will see. I am a bit doubtful of the strategy and the downside is they cannot control the bloodshed in the inner-cities after pushing the cops out, but their candidate is so bad and feeble “operation Chaos” is likely their best shot.
This is disconcerting as Rasmussen is not your typical lefty polling provider. In the past they have consistently posted polls that are both fair and accurate. Even Trafalgar (a fairly conservative polling service) has shown Trump behind by wide margins. We are still around four months out, so things can change. But this is not where one wants to be in July of a presidential election year.

I mean the media got all over McCain for suspending his campaign in order to deal with the financial crisis in 2008. Had Obama did that, he would have been touted as a hero. So the press will spin like a mother here..

Biden is like Hillary. His poll numbers go up when you do not see him. Trump should lay off picking fights on Twitter w/ NASCAR. That stuff does not help and adds to a possible Trump fatigue factor

Put in perspective, in 2006 the Democrats had a 14 point enthusiasm lead. They easily won the House back. This is 2 1/2 times that number. So anything that shows Biden in the lead is based on a faulty turnout model. Second Rasmussen is not Rasmussen anymore. Scott sold it and he is now Just the news.
