In a war it isnt much. And I assume that is why they are purchasing it.
You realize that our M1 Abrams tanks alone use about 2 gallons to the mile? Or more accurately, .6 MPG.
An armored division will use in excess of 500 thousand gallons of fuel a day...or more.
So do the math. 5 Armored divisions using 2.5 millions gallons a day...and thats just one type of fuel they are buying. So you have to split that up about equally between the other types. So if its equal, in ten days they would just about use up all the fuel for military purposes alone.
I suspect more JP8 than Diesel, but if they’re planning on lowering the boom on Iran, I’m fine with that.
