Everyone lies to pollsters when it comes to Trump.
Everyone.
If everyone lied to pollsters, then candidates would have no idea how to lie to us to get our votes. In an act of desperation they might have to tell the truth about their plans. And that’s just a crazy way to run the country.
The question I never see asked enough — even among FReepers — is how many voters refuse to cooperate with pollsters in any way?
And, more to the point, how many conservative voters refuse to cooperate with pollsters?
I would suggest that it’s impossible to poll accurately in the current political climate for the simple reason that those of us on the right — angry at media duplicity — won’t play their little rigged game.
Personally, I haven’t answered a poll in years — and I still get robo-calls, which I immediately hang up.
Even those that say they’ll vote for him?

Absolutely! I don’t answer pollsters but if I did, I would say I’m voting for Biden. Screw up their numbers.
Just like you don’t answer pollsters demanding “Do you own guns? If so, how many?”
Many won’t tell a pollster they’re voting for Trump. They don’t want to get beaten up or shot.
