He has been successfully controlling the media narrative since the late 1970's. Local NYC media is painfully aware of this.

All I’m saying is don’t underestimate the Stupidity of the American People. Especially if they sense that all of these troubles will go away if Trump is out of office, even if they think it’s not his fault.
