If the statute is of a white or a republican it must come down

They need to bulldoze Grant’s tomb while they are at it. Grant was a slaveowner.

Hasn’t been discussed much, but I’d bet the rent that China figures large here. Their economy is in turmoil, domestic problems mount, international blame for covid-19 ain’t helping, Hong Kong is still a thorn and they have sympathizers all over the country that would be happy to cash their donation to ‘the cause’. It is the communist leadership of China who would benefit the most from what is happening now, and they have orders of magnitude more money to burn than Soros et al.

When are New Yorkers going to remove these clowns from office?

Recall?

Need to rename New York. The guy it was named after was a big supporter of the slave trade. Wonder if they’ll eventually get around to that? It’s the silly season so I wouldn’t be surprised.

But first, she needs to answer the question of what happened to the $850 million she can’t account for.

George Washington is the most important single human being to the existence, survival, and formation of the US as a constitutional republic. His courage, character, and acumen was simply indispensable to the US becoming the greatest nation in the history of mankind.

To think that the fate of this great (yes, flawed as we all are) man’s statue rests in the hands of this addled, deluded, radical and thoroughly despicable cultural marxist who impersonates a “First Lady” is abhorrent beyond any measure. NYC has sunk to the absolute depths of depravity by virtue of this reality.

A cooling off period is needed before taking down statues and other reminders of historic figures.

So will we see replacement statues, with such luminaries as Lenin, Stalin, Karl Marx, Chairman Mao, Fidel Castro replacing Washington and Jefferson????

How do you promote reconciliation by threatening to trash the histories of the guiding spokesmen of one of the parties?!

The utter absurdity of this speaks a great deal about the real intentions of the leaders of certain movements.

Reason Or Compulsion?

Greatest Mischief

The deep state war party is on the heavy offensive. All the supporters are nothing but future cannon fodder and stooges.

“...build statues of historical women figures, which came under intense criticism after it snubbed sainted Italian-American nun Mother Cabrini...”

Not only did they not include Mother Cabrini, didn’t she include a tranny as an historical woman?

We are in 1793 Paris, the past is being destroyed and the new order is being laid down. In Paris they changed the numbers of days in a week, the names of the days too. Any tribute to history was to be destroyed; the church, the royalty....even cards were redesigned to make sure you had no kings, queens or jacks. We are and will see the same thing here. Any one not virtue signaling to the revolution will be destroyed. BLM are marxist revolutionist wolves in in sheep clothing

“Chirlane McCray to decide fate of NYC statues of Washington, Jefferson”

I never saw this coming.

Until the disaster at Appomattox.

The George Washington statue of his first inaugural address at the site of nation’s first Federal Hall in lower Manhattan better not be pulled down. It’s been standing in that spot since 1883.
