Hopefully.....

Had 1st taste ever of protests in my small city yesterday....our Veterans (conceal carry and otherwise) were invited to volunteer and did to protect our monuments.....store owners too.

People were arrested immediately if throwing anythng , or fighting between themselves. 8 arrests in a crowd of 300-400, and the crowd was dispersed in one hour once the violence began.

So proud of our officers show of force and preparation to take things in hand from the get go.

My hope is that Trump invokes the 2nd Amendment and calls out the Unorganized Militia. He asks former military to register with their local police or county sheriff for duty.

Those fresh out of the Sandbox would handle tactical duty, and old Vietnam Era farts like myself would hold down a desk to free up someone else for tactical duty.
