Solution for the District of Columbia:

1. Expel all residents. Send them to the states from which they came. If they do not know which one then assign them to one or let them pick one.
2. Allow some people to return as temporary residents. Only those people who are actually employed by the Federal government or by private businesses in the District will be allowed to reside in the District. Their right to reside in the District ends when their employment in the District ends.
3. Residents of the District can vote in the state and locality from which they came to work.
4. The District has no direct representation, no Representatives or Senators.
5. The District has no local government, it is managed by a committee appointed from the three branches of the Federal government.

You are speaking way over peoples understanding.

I endorsed this years ago but money wins.

It isn’t right for any permanent residence in DC.

Thanks for knowing that.
