Let me get this straight. If Columbia has a Deputy Chair of the political science department then Columbia must also have a Chairman of the political science department. It is probably safe to assume that along with the title of Deputy Chair comes additional compensation. If so, then this is a prime example of why university tuition is so expensive. Just exactly how many profs are on the political science faculty at Columbia? Are there so freaking many that the Chairman cannot be expected to manage the staff? It is my considered opinion that at Columbia there are no more than 5 to 10 students per employee. How can this be? Gross mismanagement and empire building that is leading to the financial fleecing of the student body. And the competition for the opportunity to be fleeced is mind numbing for intelligent human beings.
Oh, and BTW, Barack Obama is an alleged alumni of the political science department of Columbia, but no one that was there when he was alleged to be there remembers ever seeing him. And Obama’s Columbia records are hidden along with his birth certificate, his records from Occidental University, his passport records, and his social security records. But his efforts to undo an election are gradually coming to light and the cockroaches are running for cover.

The children are the social Marxists’ future. Have been for many decades. Our children have been specifically targeted a century by our pubic schools, news, media, churches and now social media. We had John Dewey’s early 1900’s Progressive (Marxist) influence, followed by The Frankfurt School’s mid-1900’s social Marxist plan for children led by Columbia University, then Hollywood’s 1950’s communist influences.
Then came the NEA’s No God push in our schools, then the 1960’s CPUSA push of college youts for war protests, drug use and wanton fornication, then the 1980’s sitcoms ridiculing parents, then the 1990’s queer push, then the 2000’s self-esteem facade, and now social media feeding their ignorant arrogance.
What’s the old joke about the Marine who decked the professor who challenged God to knock him down? When the Marine decked him the professor asked him why he did that. The Marine replied He’s busy right now so he sent me to answer your challenge.

Jeffrey Lax (Ph.D., New York University, 2001) studies American politics, focusing on judicial politics, with projects on bargaining in the Supreme Court, legal doctrine on collegial courts, compliance in the judicial hierarchy, the influence of law on Supreme Court decision-making, and the impact of court decisions. He also studies responsiveness to public opinion, with projects on the efficacy of majoritarian institutions, the effects of public opinion on the civil rights of gays and lesbians, and the confirmation of Supreme Court justices.
