Other countries that have strong mask protocols have has a very different experience than the US.

The first result is Facism, the goal of Socialism but the dire end of full Communism.
They already know they can jail people for gathering and for opening businesses they deem non essential.

If you want the economy to reopen successfully, you should wear a ask. But maybe you want it to shut back down again.

They did required masks in 1918, and as soon as the threat was gone we stopped wearing masks. They stopped schools and theaters and church gatherings too.
No masks are primarily to keep the asymptomatic people who don’t think they are sick from spreading the disease. If they don’t put it in the atmosphere, other’s aren’t breathing it in.
That’s why everyone needs to wear them. Or at least 80%.

No, the government simply ends the shutdown and people go back to work. Healthy people develop herd immunity so that we don’t have rounds 2 and 3 ahead of us. People with compromised immune systems can stay indoors or do whatever.
Everyone who is intelligent, and who does not want to get sick, should follow the David Brownstein MD virus protocol (or a similar one).
People with compromised immune systems who insist that the rest of us shut down, wear masks etc so the compromised immune system people can do stuff in public, will just have to follow the protocol, take their chances or stay home.
