“There will be limited supply of our products available in grocery stores until we are able to reopen our facilities that are currently closed,” Tyson wrote.

And until we re-open, therefore, we feel it proper to charge the living crap out of our customers.

Raising chickens, backyard chicken coops are quite a fad here in southern NH. Right until a fox, racoon, bear, coyote, fischer cat or bobcat realizes you have them in your back yard. Then they rip the coop apart and leave a bloody mess that you have to clean up.

Then the slightly used coop is up for sale on Craigslist. Buying those eggs in the store for $2.89/dozen is so much easier.

I have witnessed this with multiple people, including my daughter/son in law. A bear killed two of their chickens.

FYI, my wife swears she saw a bobcat go through our back woods about 150 yards behind the house on Sunday afternoon.
I only caught a glimpse of it. All I know is that it was not one of the other animals above. It also was not a deer, moose or turkey. It was following the game trail that he deer always follow. That was a first. There have also been sightings of mountain lions in the area. NH Fish & Game will not admit they live here. I guess it has to do with the budget for funding for the department.

I am in southern NH. West of Nashua about ten miles. North of the Mass border about 15 miles. Out where the suburbs change to country. I haven seen turkeys(daily), deer(weekly), black bear, moose, coyote, fox, fisher, racoon, porcupine, wood chuck, snapping turtle, and others I can not remember on this property over the last 8 years.

Doesn’t it depend on whether the virus is circulating in the community or not?

Even if the virus does, the new plant reorganization should slow or impede the spread of infection inside the plant; and if the new workers become ill, by then the original workers could also be recovered and able to return to their original job. Expanding the work force allows for greater flexibility so people can be cycling in and out as needed to keep production moving.

P.S. It’s also good to remember that Tyson Foods have been a long time ally of the Clintons. I’m not really convinced that Tyson is being honest.

It’s the training the new employees on equipment that can cause serious injury with a majority of your current trained employees out sick.

Catastrophic amputations aren’t trivial.

The majority of people who’ve had this are back at work within a month. It might be easier for the company to just wait it out until they’re back on the job.

In ‘our’ community, the workers brought the virus back from mardi gras or something apparently the middle/end of February. we got community spread from THEM.
