I would say it doesn’t have to be that planned out or even sinister.
They have been waiting, especially Fauci, his whole life for some virulent pandemic to spread, so they could be seen as the white knights riding in to save the day. Gates even released a bunch of mosquitoes on stage to scar donors into giving up cash to fight malaria.

Unfortunately many who are coming out of “sheltering in place” could be at risk of catching whatever is out there.Be it covid or flu or whatever since they were weakening their immune system by staying home. Not going out and doing the normal things that people do by not engaging in the “herd immunity” they have weakened their immune system.

It is understandable why the gummit took extreme measures when they saw pictures of Wuhan and Italy with the overrun hospitals and massive deaths occurring. Add to that the pictures of Iran filling mass graves being attributed to the virus.

The President needs to use this RAT crisis issue an EO decertifying the government unions (just as they were formed by JFK) and start terminating positions en mass.

I think that is going to take a generation. The people who lived through depression were forever penny-pinchers (not that there is anything wrong with that), and some people will have a hair trigger on reports of disease.
Governments have always been able to gin up mass hysteria, and this is a power governments are not afraid or reluctant to abuse.

Who does it benefit if the states don’t open? In our area, we have had 8 deaths, due to the virus. We are all walking around with masks on, like we live in a large city. Why not open the areas of the country, with few cases? It must be law suits on elected official’s minds. Party politics is always
part of their strategies too.
BEST line of the day
When I looked up Anthony Fauci's history, what I saw was that he finished medical school and immediately went to work for the government (NIH). For the last 52 years, he has been collecting a government paycheck. With the exception of some volunteer work wearing a space suit and dealing with EBOLA patients, he has either done research or sat behind a desk for 52 years.
Now, my first thought when I was that, was "what kind of person goes through all of the schooling and stress to be a doctor, and then never functions as a doctor?"
And that is before you get into how much the world has changed in the 52 year Fauci has been collecting a government paycheck. This crisis is almost like what he has been hoping for, in order to justify his existence.
I’m not exercised at all over the attack on Kemp. The back to work process is probably more politically complicated than the shut it down process, but it’ll sort out in 6 weeks or so.
Trump has had a few moments where he is an ass. So what?
Not to diminish the trillions of dollars wasted for this Chinese Fire Drill, that’s water over the dam, and I doubt the government EVER learns a lesson.
