Is the test for the presence of covid-19 the same as the test for the anti-bodies or are they separate tests?
The antibody tests (which supposedly don't mean squat anyway, according to the experts) are just being rolled out, and NONE of them is known reliable.

I don’t care how many people avoid going out in public out of fear of COVID-19. They’ve fallen for the media-whipped hysteria. They can hide at home forever. Not my business.
But it’s not their business if I’m not afraid to interact with people. I’ll take what precautions I can and that’s it. If I was this afraid of everything I’d never get in a car or take a bath. Enough already!

IMHO Dr Fauci is using the US population to test his theory of mitigation. Testing is just a convenient excuse. It we get full herd immunity too early, his experiment is a bust.
I’m old - open up the US, I’m willing to watch out for myself.

not only no but hell no. with an overblown model, so called essential activities more of a risk than banned non-essential activites/services enough is enough. By the time your pie in the sky mass testing occurs there will be no economy to open up.
The way to make customers confident about going to restaurants, stores and sports is mass testing so people can be reasonably certain the folks they’re interacting with are not carriers. Until then, many people will avoid public places out of fear.
