As a combat engineer, I can tell you that a true believer won’t be using the door. Breaching a wall would be my first choice.
If you live in a single family frame home, a common chain saw will slice an ingress breach in about a minute ( gotta trip the pole breaker first....).
But for common perps, reinforcement of window/doors is good .
Most apartments are wood frame as well. It’s the prefab or monolithic concrete that makes for the need of more energetic means ....

I’m talking about the 99.999% of criminals. And even you average suicidal asshole we dealt with in Gush Katif. That was almost always a guy looking for an open window without internal bars.
