I had a horrible 3 week cold at Christmas. Knew it wasn’t flu cause I had a flu shot. I would be interested in antibodies test. If a lot of folks like me show we already had it, then their chance to destroy the economy before election is finished.
My sisters two neighbors both had something horrible in January, both never got the flu shot so were immediately tested for influenza B, both negative..both had pneumonia but not serious enough to require hospitalization. She went to the ER 3 times every time they said “Its a virus it will go away” their two kids never got it(One is 4 and the other is 1 year) it took them a month to finally feel better
Bear in mind, though, that having a flu shot doesn't mean you won't get the flu. It can protect from the particular strains it was designed for, but there are many other strains out there that can get you.
