Democrats on Friday reacted furiously to President Trumps decision to fire the intelligence community inspector general who informed Congress about the Ukraine whistleblower complaint.

Indeed. Clean house 100%.
Well, the only good thing of a self induced depression is many of them will likely return home.
As much as I detest Cuomo...I’m OK with giving the governor (as a position) a pay raise. I think 20% per year for two years is a bit over the top.
However, I do believe that the Governor (as a position) should be removed from the State Pension System. That should also apply to ALL elected positions at EVERY level of NY government.
In the governor’s (as a position) defense, being the governor of NY is not the same as other less densely populated locations with more FedGov controlled lands.
Schiff is such a drama queen.
The fact that the Democrats are having a fit about Atkinsons firing is more proof that he was working for them and the Resistance. He was knee deep at Justice in all the FISA abuse and his actions at Intel of ignoring the law and changing the form and claiming urgent need to get the false complaint to Schiff’s committee says all you need to know about this corrupt partisan operative. But, he was fired because of the very negative findings about him in Horowitz’s latest IG report
Giving this loud mouthed nasty ventilator commandeering trump hating infant murdering self promoting a 50 k raise by twisting the arms of the assembly at six in the morning like a bunch of POWs during this Rhône?
Ill have to look at your profile and remember you
He BETTER be firing a LOT more than just THIS Coup Plotter!
The President can fire anyone he damn pleases.
Yawn.
Was anybody expecting anything else?
So, whats new? Democrats slam everything President Trump does.
As an exiled New Yorker, by way of a career in the military, I am not a fan of NY at all. I’ve never cared for the Cuomo family and don’t understand why anyone feels the need to elect or hire children of politicians. However, I wouldn’t work as the Governor of NY for less than $250K/yr either. That is a big state with a lot of moving pieces, an international border, a massive city, and more leftists than I’d ever want to deal with.
Gov. Cuomo is not a good governor for the state and has driven out business like his predecessors, but the people elected him. I think there is something in the water up there...

They have cried wolf so many times that very few can even generate outrage. If the media were a person in our orbit it is difficult to imagine that anyone would want to be friends with such a person. They are miserable, shrill, negative, overly sensitive, woke, PC, dishonest, nattering nabobs.
They passed this during a pandemic when people in New York are losing their livelihoods.
50 k per year which is a drop in the bucket to an influence peddler
At dawn at the end of a 22 hour work day
Stop wasting my time
The article said they passed it last year. No need for rudeness. I was not defending Cuomo, but the position of governor for a big state.
Now we know three Fake News sources who can't be trusted. There are two sides to this story - this one, and that describes all the unannounced policy changes, organizational violations, and Republican positions involved in the story. Fake News can be not only what is told, but also what is omitted.
My comment was only about the salary. I understand that there is corruption in all levels of government. I suggest getting the government out of the economy altogether to solve that issue. Separation of economy and State. The government was not intended to have such power to deny citizens the right to bear arms (NY Safe Act), ability to engage in oil production, choose whether to allow illegal aliens sanctuary or rights over US citizens, free education of illegal aliens, and now taking medical equipment from Upstate NY for NYC.
Cuomo has played favorites with grants and projects all over the state for years. My family, unfortunately, always cheered when he graced Central NY with some grant or initiative. Now they have an opportunity to see how playing favorites can actually cost them their lives. I’m the only one who escaped NY 35 years ago and never looked back.

You are correct. This makes it a different story. I do apologize.
“Democrats slam Trumps dead of night decision to fire intelligence community IG”
like anyone is paying attention right now to anything but surviving the coronavirus shutdown of the economy ...
