The NYPD has seen a 75% increase in reports of burglaries of commercial establishments from March 12, when New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a state of emergency, to March 31, police officials said

Now who didn't see that coming?
Several Freepers have been predicting exactly that for weeks.
Millions thrown out of work, businesses empty and a volatile crime ridden densely packed place like New York, and crime is going to shoot right up.
They either lift the lockdwn and get people back to work, or its going to get much, much worse.
