Oh come on now. This has NOTHING AT ALL to do with illegal immigration. This is normal commerce and personal travel. Surely you aren’t suggesting to not have international airports?
What is DOES do is put to bed the myth that Trump blew it by not testing earlier. How on earth would we have dealt with so many people? Impossible.
South Korea has 2 international airports to our approx. 150. Their testing-oriented approach worked because the problem was several orders of magnitude simpler than our problem. The response to this article is to say Trump didnt have a chance in hell to stop entry of the virus. Millions of early tests and we STILL would have dealt with it on a massive scale.
