I have never considered gloves to be anything other than just a component of protection. Even with gloves, I sanitize the gloves several times while in the store and then just before opening and loading the car. I toss the gloves away before I get in the car. I am also very careful about not touching any store item unless I am certain that I will purchase it. We allow nonperishable items to remain in our garage for at least a day before bringing them into our safe zone.

Where do you toss gloves that could be a biohazard?

And unless you wash/sanitize your hands immediately after removing your gloves, there’s a good chance you just contaminated your hands.
