The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.

The guy’s a showman. He is a identified as a purveyor of pseudoscience. He is far from an authority on infectious illness. Reporting in the BMJ, Canadian researchers analyzed his medical TV talk show and found that only 46% of the recommendations on The Dr. Oz Show were supported by evidence. He’s about as consistent as Bill Nye. So even if Oz is a surgeon, he makes his living not exactly with facts.

This is really starting to sound like good news....and of course President Trump is going to be right. You know, it's not that President Trump is right. Anyone could see this. Its' that no matter what he says the media makes this narrative that he's too stupid to be right. So when he's vindicated it looks him like a genius in comparison to the idiotic media.
But drugs that will basically eliminate the virus in 5 or 6 days VERSUS your body fighting it for 4-6 weeks? It IS a game changer. The only question would be if we would acquire immunity or not.
