Evidence for Hydroxychloroquine Is Clinical Trial - Not Anecdotal
American Thinker ^ | 3/22/20 | Andrew Longman

[Editor's note: Lack of FDA approval does not prohibit off-label use of drugs for other threapeutic purposes, but would inhibit widespred use.]

You are being lied to about the drugs that heal COVID19.

America's FDA, and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, are dragging their feet on approving a drug that provides very strong positive effect on COVID19.

Fauci, speaking from the White House, said on the matter of approving Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin:

Yep.... particularly not the time during a HUGE national emergency. And not when it involves drugs already proven (years ago) safe when used as directed. And when that drug combination has been proven to be effective in fighting the virus causing COVID-19.

There is someone here who oversaw an ER for over 20 years who is also of that mindset..not only that...he wants the study to come from some place like harvard, mayo or hopkins before he will believe it.

I asked him if he thought this drug should be used right now or should we wait for a study from said places

He hasnt answered the question.

Follow the money.

Hydroxycholorquine costs about $20 for one month’s supply. It is a generic drug manufactured by several companies. It has been approved and in use since 1955 for malaria and other diseases. It is unlikely that drug companies will pay for clinical trials to test the efficacy of hydroxycholorquine in view of limited profit potential.

Remdesivir is a proprietary experimental drug developed by one major medical company, Gilead Science. It has not been approved for use at all, but is being clinically tested, apparently sponsored by Gilead Science. Estimated cost for one month’s supply is $1,000. There is a high profit potential if this drug is ultimately approved.

Is it any wonder that the drug industry is trying to slow the use of Hydroxycholoroquine to maintain a market for
Remdesivir after it finishes clinical trials?

The FDA has long had a symbiotic relationship with the drug industry, which some might view as incestuous, or worse. It is possible that the FDA is complicit in delaying use of hydroxychloroquine to allow a window of opportunity for the profit from Remdesivir.

“I always thought that viruses were impossible to kill.”

The problem is to kill the virus without harming the patient.

My understanding of the Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine is that it interferes with the ability of the virus to replicate. When that happens the bodies own defenses can take care of the virus.

Some may say that is exactly the problem. A drug that is widely available as a generic around the world since 1955. There is zero profit in that.

Zinc also interferes with the ability of RNA virus to replicate. However, I dont know about this specific one

Thus I have zinc lozenges to coat the throat and zinc to take

It will be physicians with balls and brains that solve this crisis and not bureaucrats like Fauci.

You are absolutely right!

Ohio said we only want to use it as a last resort in life or death situations. Reason: RA and Lupus patients need it. State is cracking down on docs prescribing to themselves and their families.

You should watch this video from medcram.

It’ll explain why Zinc alone doesn’t work on viruses.

And why you need chloroquine to introduce zinc into the rna.

A comprehensive article on why hydroxycloroquine works can be found here.

https://spinstrangenesscharm.wordpress.com/2020/03/20/covid19-update-a-brief-look-at-three-possible-drugs-bonus-a-brief-look-at-pre-existing-conditions-in-italy/

A quick summary is that it allows Zinc ions to cross the cell barrier and block the mechanism that the virus uses to reproduce.

When you take zinc on first feeling a cold, this is why it works, but only a very little zinc actually makes it into your cells. Cloroquine allows zinc to cross the cell barrier and this increases the concentration of zinc significantly.

Now it has side effects so you have to understand and accept those risks, and mixing it with other drugs creates unknown risks. But, the other side is that these risks are completely known for use of Clorquine and a zinc supplement, regardless of the antibiotic you might pair this with.

Fausi is by-the-book, in that unless there are peer-reviewed, double-blind, randomized studies, it’s anecdotal. But this isn’t the time for peer-reviewed, double-blind, randomized. It’s time for “compassionate care”. Get the data later.

That is why Trump has Fauci there....to represent the bureaucratic swamp where approvals go to die. Fauci tells Trump it cannot be approved because of X. Trump goes out and eliminates or streamlines X.

That is why there is so much progress so quickly.

Also, Hydroxychloroquine is being used en masse at many hospitals and manufacturers are making as much as possible.

The US may come out of this with very few fatalities compared to other, more regulated nations.

Yep. If the 6-day course of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin becomes part of the accepted “standard of care” for Covid-19 patients, the clinical trials of Remdesivir would want to see its recovery & safety results compared to the 6-days of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin.

If there’s NO IMPROVEMENT in outcome or (Horrors!) WORSE OUTCOMES for the Remdesivir treated patients in the clinical trial then the drug developer will not be able to charge humongous prices for it and, hence, not recover all the development costs. THAT MAY BE THE REASON FOR DOCTOR FAUCI’S NON-ENCOURAGEMENT of use of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin for COVID-19 treatment.

anyone doubt that the CORRUPT Congresscriminals
that TANKED the marked also bought Gilead.

If Fauci or his wife own 1 share, their punishment
should be that for sedition and murder.

it also appears that quercetin will do the same thing..with no prescription and less side effects

Of course, it might not be strong enough. You can buy it on Amazon.I bought some awhile ago for some reason. Havent used it because the powder stains and makes a huge mess
