Unfortunately my four years in college baseball were from 1964 through 1968. Oh well. I never saw Bob Gibson ...... then.

Thanks for the details. I still think the game would be better WITHOUT A PITCHERS MOUND.

(Every time I see a courtroom scene on tv with a judge it reminds me of a pitcher's mound. ....... (same thing with some pharmacists.) ___

By the way, do you remember "the terrace" in right field in old Crosley Field in Cinci.? As the outfielder approached the wall, the ground began to incline toward the wall. Made it a little hairy for a fielder who was not used to it.
