Before that, her mother owned a novelty shop in another spot of the usually bustling shopping area. Millions of people visit Pike Place Market annually.

But the stalls are empty this week. Vendors aren't flinging fish to one another; instead, they're checking their phones or reading a book.

"It's like a ghost town," Francisco said. ...

So far she says it’s been a calm rational response. Very expensive, but a good model to observe as things proceed.

When I left Pike Place Market on Monday everything was still bustling. Maybe a little less crowding is a good idea. Tourists who come specifically to see the market will still come and locals will stay away for now.

Do they know how difficult it is to FReep and drive with all this traffic?

I assume Texas has the same anti texting laws as TN, so that you now have to hold your phone below the dashboard to freep instead of on top of the steering wheel where you can keep an eye on what's going on.

Is the Link shut down, or just buses?

I checked both the Seattle Times and the Metro Bus website, and there’s nothing about mass transit being shut down in Seattle. I think it’s a misunderstanding by someone, or fake news.

BINGO. Noice all rallies have no sterile gloves or mask.

None in grocery store. Only place they are in use is the Store’s clinic personnel. Had to go Monday, new med took 17 days to break me out in a bad case of HIVES. Called the ENDO to report it, still not heard back. Januvia is a Type 2 Diabetic med, BS is running crazy.

One Tweet:

“This is the story of a neighborhood that built an informal wall around its real estate to keep them out.”

Them being the low-lifes.

The writer probably visited at 9 am Sunday, too.

I kind of figure that would be the case. The UK was trying to say there was a run on the stores across America, I have not seen any runs in my area.

I don’t know what Seattle looks like on a normal day. But it’s 8:44am there. And I’m thinking that traffic looks really thin.

I just cruised from Tacoma to the Northgate area of Seattle on I-5. Traffic is holiday light.
