Is this guy talking about the general election this fall? My wife and I voted in the primary about 2 hours ago...

The only thing bringing some of these Blue states back as when the Hispanic vote starts swinging towards the Republicans. It will happen eventually, and it will be the Democrats worst nightmare because we won’t just be the white party.

Sorry, but as much as like the occasional fantasy novel, this is just silly. The odds of California voting for Trump are roughly the same as Mississippi voting for Sanders.

I guess he gets paid to write the column no matter how stupid it is.

Trump will never win CA.

But he could make CA competitive.

IF Trump made a campaign stop in California and railed SOLELY against the permissive granting of squatting rights to 150,000 people and somehow remained on topic the entire time, the resulting press shaming of Trump might be as effective as a half billion dollar media buy here.

Probably won’t happen.

Zero chance. CA is a top 5 rat state now, sadly, especially with this ballot harvesting crap. Along with MA, VT, MD, and HI, CA is likely unwinnable no matter the circumstances. HI is interesting, they used to like incumbent Republicans ok, W Bush got 45% but I haven’t seen any signs that will be repeated, been very heavily rat since then.

We could stand to take back some House seats in Cali though so it would help if Trump did better than last time.

I have been saying this CA could be in play for DJ Trump. I can’t believe the naysayers on this thread. There are a lot of Republicans in CA and they are not happy. The Latino community is a lot more conservative and believe in the 2nd amendment. With good support from the black community and the Latinos, CA could be in play.

DJT could possibly make some inroads by supporting GOP candidates in the down voting. That could pay off in the mid-terms of 2022, if not in 2020.

Nah. I’d literally shit my pants if we took California. Not going to happen. They have an unbeatable, well oiled fraud machine.

Sad that that’s more Republicans than any other state but maybe TX and FL.

In 2016 it was 8m Ds, 5m Rs. Now it’s 8.2m Ds, 4.8m Rs.

Ds comin’ in, Rs movin’ out.
