This is what happens when you get single-party rule from Democrats. They just don’t know how to run things, and a California liberal is a special breed of incompetence.

A special kind of stupid...................

The following is what a reader from Townhall said

"Never underestimate the ability of Donald Trump to do what others say can't be done. Things could get very interesting"

And I must say I agree with the reader

Need to get citizenship on the census...

...if not, then take away half of California's 55 electoral votes.

I believe President Trump should make a play for California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. In addition to the states, he narrowly lost. Make the dem candidate have to try to keep up and spend money in places they consider a lock.
Speak to the issues that are on the minds of the peoples of those states and which serve to highlight dem incompetence and overreach.
No need to spend huge ad buy monies. Targeted ad buys and rally’s in those states will force the dems to spend money they had not planned to spend.

I have been thinking for a while now that if Trump would hold some rallies in California - especially in Nancy’s district - that there might be a shot at flipping California. A long shot, perhaps - but a shot just the same.

California has become a shitehole, and everybody knows it - especially the people who live there.

The state is sinking for so many reasons. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump could flip it.

If Trump advisors convince him to waste time and resources in California as we approach November, it can only mean they see an absolute rout in the works and have nothing better to do. So I hope it happens.

The only way it happens isn’t so much from cross-overs, but from Dem voter apathy: non-voting as a protest against AB5.

CA and NY are gone. The election will be decided by a subset of precincts in just a handful of battleground states.

They don’t have to vote for him, they just need to stay home and let the republicans vote. They can all act shocked and we promise not to ask if they voted.

California could go R. It really could.
But, as the article notes, media is expensive in Cal.
and
its a big big state (40 million plus people).
that translates into a ton of campaigning.

the Cal R party is worthless. does nothing. nominates usually worthless candidates, too. An almost invisible organization (if it is even organized?). No visible community meetings, caucuses, rallies, nothing.
Based on most of their candidates, people conclude that the Cal R party doesn’t care... its just a little social club that plays some golf, has little or no intention of putting up a fight to win much of anything. So, many potential R voters just stay home.

To restore 2 party government in California would take a ton of effort and lots of money. Trump is a person who could do it. But he may figure he can get 10 states elsewhere for the cost in time effort energy and money of winning Cal.
A big prize, to be sure! But still...he’d have to fight the mass media (99.44 percent left left far far left) and pay them a ton of $ to just carry his ads (if they will?) and he’d have to build a new organization from ground up given how useless the Cal R party is.

My guess is...he’ll pass.

California may be driven to draining their own swamp and wrestling their version of the Deep State out of the ooze.

California as Venezuela is not a pretty picture. The current and past few state administrations have steady eroded, if not completely collapsed, much of the wealth and potential the state was naturally endowed with.

California was once the Golden State, and it can be again. Somehow, the infection has to be drained from its system before it can again function at the level it once did.

I lived in Kalifornia for many years. Can say w/out hesitation the main reason it’s so blue is all the illegal voting. I saw it happen first hand for years and it got progressively worse. That’s the reason demorats r fighting so hard to keep the border open. My liberal friends would argue w/me all the time. But it’s a fact that demorats depend on the illegal vote to remain in power. Remember, governor moon beam issued “temporary” drivers’ licenses to illegals on the premise they would purchase auto insurance. The main reason is this temporary DL is accepted as a legal ID to vote.

Rs have had no reason or candidates to bring them to the polls for a decade or more. With this, they suddenly do.
