Kushner promises 'no drama' and 'no leaks' during Trump second term......

"There's no leaks. There's no drama. I would say it's high-competence, low-drama," the president's son-in-law told a crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday about Trump's 2020 campaign. "Everything is very efficiently run. And I think that's exemplary of how President Trump would run his second term in office."....Kushner said the administration has "doubled and tripled down" on good ideas while discarding bad ones, which has allowed it to run more efficiently.

While Trump has seen fewer leaks from his White House since the beginning of his term, he has recently pointed the finger at congressional Democrats when information was leaked.........Last week, the president accused Rep. Adam Schiff of leaking a report that Russia is interfering in the 2020 presidential election to the benefit of Sen. Bernie Sanders's campaign for the Democratic nomination.

"Adam Schiff and his group, they leaked it to the papers. As usual, they ought to investigate Adam Schiff for leaking that information," he said.

Stupid to say no leaks, that is just asking for deep state to make a liar out of him.

Good luck with that first part. Drama is the presidents second middle name. It’s often used as a management tool.

Yup. He’s suppose to be very smart. Apparently not very well versed in human nature.

There’s a lot of good people - not the crazed never-Trump types - who would like to see him exercise more Presidential discretion on the twitter-type things.

Double and triple down on THIS good idea:

Dismantle the unconstitutional portion of the Totalitarian Federal Government which is about 80%+

(AKA "The Deep State" AKA "The Swamp")

I’d prefer Trump to promise no Kushner in the second term.

Kushner, who is somewhat sympathetic to the Left, is liable to make stupid RINO statements like that. The Left plays RINOs like a violin.

Trump would never be stupid enough to say something like that.

That was a dumb promise. There are too many nasty Democrats on Congress, and who knows how many sleeper Obama holdovers in the government.

Yup. I’m a world class sarcastic smartass so I understand how President Trump talks.

But he needs to tone it way down. Not everyone can appreciate it.

Agree. Methinks he doth opine too much.

No need to comment on the minor stuff or about insignificant personalities. Less can be more.

I was at CPAC yesterday when he was interviewed on the main stage. I was prepared to be very skeptical (and still am a bit given his political roots) but have to say I came away very impressed with his demeanor, humility, professionalism, intelligence, detailed command of the topics and most importantly loyalty to Trump and the Trump family. He said he, like the President, is a pragmatic businessman aiming to put in place programs that work and that can be adjusted over time. In addition, he emphasized that Trump and his family are willing to pay the personal price in order to make a long term lasting impact on American jobs and the economy - whether or not the benefits accrue while Trump is still in office. In the end, I am glad that with all the snakes in DC swap, Trump has loyal family members around him (even if I still remain skeptical about some of their personal ideologies.) More good than harm IMO.

Stupid comment. Should not be anywhere near the White House or involve in any administrative activities.

Sadly, that won’t happen because there’s just too many deep-state implants who don’t want power going back to the people.

Good to see that all of you “know it alls” here in the Great Halls of Free Republic could find a place to gather and opine.

The man, his family, and his administration, have been under attack since (even before) his announcement to run for President of the United States.

Get out of my fox hole!

“But he needs to tone it way down. Not everyone can appreciate it.”

Looking at a second term he needs to take a page or two from the Gipper’s book on such things. Be firm when needed, but otherwise it should mostly be water off the duck’s back.
