The judge always sentences, not the DOJ. The DOJ recommends a sentence, which Barr thought was excessive in this case. That’s what makes this brouhaha over the sentencing so ridiculous. Trump (or Barr) was not interfering with the administration of justice as the sentencing was not in their hands.

Trump should not pardon Stone. He should commute his sentence to the same amount of time that McCabe, Comey, Clapper and Brennan were given for the same crime.
Barr’s DOJ prosecuted Stone. The FBI (which is under DOJ) conducted the midnight SWAT raid of Stone and his wife. Barr’s DOJ is still persecuting General Flynn. Barr whined to liberal reporters that the President was calling them out. Barr refused to prosecute Comey, twice, and Andrew McCabe.

The verdict should be tossed for two reasons: (1) The jury was tainted, as you said, and (2) Ineffective representation by Stone’s own legal counsel. What kind of hack assholes wouldn’t do a simple Google search on the names of potential jurors? It would take them maybe 15 seconds to find this woman’s social media sites and read her clear disdain for All Things Trump?

She was the jury foreman and discussion coordinator in the jury room. There was another jurist that said in an op-ed he didn't pay attention to some of Stone's defense arguments. There are some potential problems with a third jurist whose spouse works at the DOJ..

I have to laugh at these people who whine about Roger Stone being stupid and taunting. I'd like to see how they'd react if they had to go through something like Stone, and the rest of the individuals who were associated with Trump, have had to go through these past, almost 4 years now. If it was me, I'd have a hard time not being belligerent, or obnoxious if my life was being upended for no legitimate reason, all because some sniveling a-holes in the FBI and DOJ wanted to use me to get to the President. That's what this is all about...all of these investigations, and prosecutions based on a lie. It was to try to take down Trump, and although it failed miserably, they managed to destroy a lot of people's reputations, finances, and lives by doing so. Whether Roger Stone is a "jerk" or not, I don't care. What I care about is that the legal system was abused by a bunch of people who had one goal...and that was to overthrow this President by manipulating the system to their own advantage. That's the real crime here.
Or he should change his voter registration to democrat-That's an instant Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card.
The last place you want to settle any legalities is in court!
We have had two good lawyers, and they totally agree with you. The best way to win is not in court.
