I don’t think open border democrats that want to allow diseased persons easy entry into the United States and democrat candidates pining for health care for ALL illegal border jumpers can rally any energy against the Trump administration for a disease that is new on the earth.
The majority of American voters are neither Democrat nor Republican, neither liberal or conservative, neither orange man bad or Chito Jesus saves. The majority of Americans are loosely affiliated and vote their pocketbooks and vote for their children. Their memories are much shorter than the memories of we political junkies. Crunch time, they will vote their pocketbooks and their children.
It is only folly to project onto the election the conditions that you see today, assume the very worst conditions such as now exist in China and then analyze the electoral possibilities.
That is not to say that those conditions will exist, I only cite the possibility and further note that the downside is potentially catastrophic but the downside of getting in front now is virtually nil. Lag on this issue at our peril at the voting booth.
