I have lots of fun with this ‘meme’ - Epstein did not kill himself.
It has spread to my son and his friends. Whenever we are out in public, we place removable labels that have that quote. After speaking to several business owners who still have the stickers up, they say it makes customers laugh and have no intention of removing them. My son and friends have them on their phones and other personal items. They have no problem explaining to those who question the labels so that they understand.
My son was caught by his English Literature teacher of reading Thomas Paine’s Common Sense in class today. He just told me that it explains why he excels in his class while other students struggle.
Haven’t read it yet but just bought the book Thomas Paine and the Clarion Call For American Independence by Harlow Giles Unger (2019).
Maybe your son could borrow it on interlibrary loan.
