Advancing Neo-Marxism and Identity Politics by Erasing Southern Heritage
Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam is pushing a bill in the Virginia Legislature to replace Robert E. Lees statue in the U.S. Capitol. Each state has two statues in the National Statuary Hall Collection. Virginias two statues are of George Washington and Robert E. Lee.
In December, Two Virginia U.S. House Representatives, Jennifer Wexton and Donald McEachin, added momentum to replacing Lees statue in the Statuary Hall:

Replace the Robert E. Lee statue with one of Anthony Johnson, a black man. He was the first slaveholder in Virginia.
Northam is fit kick the horse shit off the boots of a man like Lee. It never ends well for people like Ralph Northam, I suspect the same will be true for him.
Isnt fit to lick*
PS. FR desperately needs and edit and like button
Yeah, but look at the damage son pf bitches such as Northam have done and the misery that they have caused while they are ending.
I think it is important to leave statues like Robert Lee’s up, to remind everyone which side lost the Civil War.
That jerk McEachin.
Again.
Two Virginia U.S. House Representatives, Jennifer Wexton and Donald McEachin,

They are Delegates in the VA House of Delegates, not US Representatives.
No, unless that unimpeachable reference, the Wikipedia, is playing tricks, they are both Congresscritters from the Old Dominion.
New ones in 2017, I better keep up.
Northam is a kitshicker.
Glad you posted that quote. Idiot K-12 and college brainwashing system graduates never heard of either Washington or Lee. Or else just saw them in a diatribe against colonialist white supremacist founders of the United States.
Like the Library of Alexandria and others, when the true history is burned or deleted , only the new story of the faultless Communist hero leader will be left in 2021.
Robert E. Lee was a Giant among men. Governor Black-Face is a turd.
Robert E. Lee Quotes on Slavery
“There are few, I believe, in this enlightened age, who will not acknowledge that slavery as an institution is a moral and political evil.”
“So far from engaging in a war to perpetuate slavery, I have rejoiced that slavery is abolished. I believe it will be great for the interests of the south. So fully am I satisfied with this, as regards Virginia especially, that I would cheerfully have lost all I have lost by the war, and have suffered all I have suffered, to have this object attained.”
‘Northam is a kitshicker.’
ha ha ha...
‘Replace the Robert E. Lee statue with one of Anthony Johnson’
I heard they’re replacing it with a comfortable fetus...
Something Lee may or may not have said.
If I remember my history correctly, Lee was one of the main reasons why the Civil War hostilities did not continue on into protracted guerrilla war after the technical surrender of the organized armies. If that in fact was the case, it’s likely that thousands of lives were saved, and the slow healing of regional divisions was able to take place. Even without the exceptional personal character he displayed as an individual, that should have earned him a place of honor in our history.
SSDD.
The period immediately following the war and euphemistically called “Reconstruction” served as opportunity for the revenge-minded to execute a pogrom against southern culture. They destroyed everything from courthouse records to family bibles to try to erase the culture of the Old South from the collective memory.

Also Lee quote on slavery. From a January 1865 letter to Robert Hunter:
"Considering the relation of master and slave, controlled by humane laws and influenced by Christianity and an enlightened public sentiment, as the best that can exist between the white and black races while intermingled as at present in this country, I would deprecate any sudden disturbance of that relation unless it be necessary to avert a greater calamity to both. I should therefore prefer to rely upon our white population to preserve the ratio between our forces and those of the enemy, which experience has shown to be safe. But in view of the preparations of our enemies, it is our duty to provide for continued war and not for a battle or a campaign, and I fear that we cannot accomplish this without overtaxing the capacity of our white population."
